With a 120 percent power limit and 92°C temperature limit set in MSI Afterburner, our Founders Edition sample was happy with an additional 150MHz applied to the core, taking base and boost speeds to 1,757MHz and 1,833MHz respectively. This took in-game boost speeds from around 1,800MHz to about 1,950MHz, an improvement of roughly eight percent.

The GDDR5 memory, meanwhile, chugged along without error at 9.2Gbps, which is a 15 percent jump.
